Let's put something to rest, shall we? The Jets were only down 5 points against the Colts heading into the third quarter before the Colts pulled their starters.
There is NO guarantee the Colts would have won. None. Yeah yeah I know we'll find out Sunday who wins. But everyone that assumes the Colts resting Payton and others meant automatic Jet failure and elimination from playoff contention can kiss my butt.
It's insulting.
As for me, I'll be back at Swig on 2nd Avenue and 85th street to watch the game. I'm SO excited. Can't wait.
